The rustling of satins and silks, the flutter of feathers and eyelashes peeking out from behind masks; it must be a Masquerade Gala!
The formal event on Saturday night is always a highlight of every NAAFA convention and this year is no exception. NAAFA Awards Dinner and Masquerade Gala is being held Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Dulles Airport Marriott in Washington, DC.
The evening will begin with an Awards Dinner as we honor those who have shown dedication to our cause, working to end discrimination against people of size. As always, formal wear is encouraged but not mandatory but we should warn you, prepare to dazzle and be dazzled!
No formal night would be complete without a dance! Move the Crowd Entertainment will cast a spell as the DJ spins our favorite tunes at the Masquerade Ball. Masks, beads and boas will abound at this enchanting ball.
